Global Terms of Service & Academic Policies
1. Scope of Service
This platform provides access to high-level Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in the field of Neuroscience and Health Sciences. By enrolling in any program, the user agrees to abide by the academic rigor and the specific pacing requirements established by the course directors and the Deller Lab.
2. Admission & Prerequisites
Academic Verification: Users must meet the minimum requirements stated in each course description (e.g., 2nd-year undergraduate standing).
Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true and accurate information during registration. Providing false academic credentials may lead to the revocation of any issued certificates.
3. Academic Integrity & Code of Conduct
Individual Effort: All assessments, quizzes, and final exams are designed to measure individual proficiency. The use of AI tools to generate answers, sharing quiz keys, or collaborating on final exams is strictly prohibited.
Professionalism: Interaction within the community forums or with assigned supervisors must remain professional, respectful, and evidence-based.
4. Intellectual Property
All course materials—including recorded lectures, downloadable PDFs, research summaries, and proprietary diagrams—are the intellectual property of the respective instructors and the Institute of Clinical Neuroanatomy.
Personal Use Only: Content is licensed for individual educational use. Recording, redistributing, or selling course materials is a violation of international copyright law.
5. Course Progression & “Drip” Content
To ensure pedagogical quality, our courses employ a time-locked progression system:
24-Hour Rule: New lessons unlock 24 hours after the completion of the previous one.
Module Buffer: A minimum of 4 days is required per module to ensure thorough engagement with the scientific literature.
No Exceptions: These timers are automated to maintain the course’s academic standard and cannot be bypassed.
6. Certification & Validation
Passing Criteria: Certificates are issued only upon reaching the minimum score (usually 70%) and completing all mandatory “Time-on-Page” requirements.
Verification: Each certificate carries a unique ID that can be verified by third-party institutions or employers.
7. Limitation of Liability
While our courses are taught by specialists, the content is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice or clinical guidelines. The platform is not responsible for any decisions made based on the information provided in the lectures.
